Calculate π(PI) with various algorithms
This is just an application to calculate π(Pi) with various algorithms.
This app displays the circle ratio in real time while monitoring the temperature of your device.
The fastest algorithm (Chudnovsky algorithm) used in the world record of pi calculation is also implemented.
- Use
Since calculation time is displayed, you can use this app for device benchmark etc.
- Feature
You can set the number of digits from 1 to 999999 as you like.
You can select an algorithm from the following three methods.
Monte Carlo method -> slow, statistically dispersed
Machin's formula -> fast
Chudnovsky algorithm -> so fast
All methods are parallel processing and can make use of multithreading.
- Caution
If you increase the number of digits to calculate on a device with low performance, memory can not be secured and it may freeze.
