Tanpura is a divine instrument in south India (Carnatic music). Tanpuras are made from the bark of Jackfruit tree & the rest of the country (Hindustani Music) makes from the shell of bottle gourd. Over time, the art of making Tanpura is dying and in the current scenario the learners are not trained in tuning Tanpura which is a very complicated and a passionate time consuming art.
