Finding an AWESOME panino has never been simpler!

PaninoMap is the first and a unique digital guide to the Panino, bringing you the addresses of all those places, in Italy and around the world, that make their own express panini at the time of consumption, telling the story in video and pictures, with selection and approval of authentic Italian panini by the Accademia del Panino Italiano.

What does the PaninoMap do?

. GEOLOCATION. With interactive geolocation, the App enables you to make a quality choice in the world of panini, instantly finding those nearest to where you are.
. SEARCH. The “Search” function enables you to find a retail outlet on the spot by writing in its name, or to find out which shop nearby has the Authentic Panino Italiano by keying in the name of the panino.
. MAP OR LIST. The outlet search comes up immediately on the map or as a list.
. SHOP LISTING. Every point of sale on the map has a listing with all the information you need to be able to choose the best place for you particular preferences: including address, opening times, phone number, pics, links to the site, panini menu, prices, special discounts and reviews. The owner of the outlet can ask the Fondazione to independently manage this listing: for further information write to [email protected]
. REVIEWS AND PHOTOS. Everybody using the outlet can write reviews and post photos on the shop’s Listing, as well as looking up those left by previous visitors.
. AUTHENTIC PANINO ITALIANO LISTING. Every Authentic Panino Italiano has its own individual listing with photos, videos, pictures and recipes that tell all of its secrets. The authentication comes from the certifying committee of the Panino Italiano academy, with strict rules on authenticity and its registered trademark, “panini italiani autentici”, the main prerequisite being immediate preparation on site.
. PRODUCTION REGULATIONS. The production regulations have been drafted by the certifying committee of the Accademia del Panino Italiano, and contain all the rules for recognition as an “Authentic Panino Italiano”.
. PANINO ITALIANO MAGAZINE. There is a link from the App to the magazine ilpaninoitaliano.org, a publication with daily update articles on the world of food and Italian gastronomic culture, with special focus on panini, the products, the producers and the different types and ways of enjoying them.
. PROFILE. There is a special members area where you can find your own panini and your favourite outlets.
. INDICATE AN OUTLET. The App is continuously updated with new points of sale that have been sought out and selected by the team at the Accademia, but every suggestion from you is always very welcome! You can indicate an outlet you know but can’t find on the App if you think it is worth listing: the specialist team will evaluate the report, carry out checks, and modify the App to include it if appropriate.
. BILINGUAL APP. The App is in Italian and in English: you can choose which from the menu.
